What exactly is inert waste?
This is waste that does not have any dangerous properties and does not undergo significant physical, biological or chemical changes due to external conditions. These wastes do not burn and otherwise do not react chemically or physically. They are also not subject to biological decomposition, nor do they cause the decomposition of other substances that would threaten the environment and human health. They can very often be materially used or deposited in landfills marked S-IO. Such a typical example is earth and stone.
